ArmInfo. The process of paying unpaid salaries to 116 employees responsible for technical safety of the Nairit plant launched in January 1, 2018 still continues, First  Deputy Prime Minister Ararat Mirzoyan told this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian on May 15 met with the former director of Nairit plant Karen Israyelyan, members of the coordinative group Nairit, as well as the lawyer of the workers of the plant Tigran Sarkissian. 

ArmInfo.President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian on May 7 received a group of former workers of Nairit chemical plant, holding protests in front of his residency. As the  participants of the protests noted, during the meeting with the  President they, once again, referred to the need to restart chemical  plant.

ArmInfo.Minister of Nature Protection of Armenia Artsvik Minasyan held a working meeting on the safe disposal of chemical waste at the Nairit plant.

ArmInfo.. A meeting was held in the Armenian government the day before, held by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan. The meeting discussed issues related to the work to  eliminate the consequences of major fires that erupted in the Khosrov  Forest, on the territory adjacent to the Artavan community in Vayots  Dzor and the Yerevan Nairit plant, to implement measures to prevent  possible fires, and to properly control the territories. 

ArmInfo.The head of the association "For the sake of stable human development", ecologist Karine Danielyan doubts the safety of the substance burnt in the territory of the chemical plant "Nairit". "It's hard to believe that there are no dangerous substances in the burning material," the ecologist said in an interview with ArmInfo.

ArmInfo. The fire at the territory of the chemical plant Nairit is localized, there is no  threat of spread of the flame, and the burning substance does not represent a danger, according to the press service of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

ArmInfo.On August 28 at 13:10pm local time, Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received an alarm that a fire started at the territory of Nairit plant. 

ArmInfo. The doom of the last surviving industrial giant in Armenia is Vanadzor-Chemical Plant CJSC is close. Competent state bodies are either not aware of what is happening, or consider the enterprise as a "bakery", the owner of which sells it in parts. This is stated in the statement of the  "Bright Armenia" Party, which arrived in ArmInfo.

ArmInfo. Former employees of Armenian chemical giant - Nairit Plant - on December 7 gathered at the National Assembly building to be heard by the authorities.  According to the statements of nairit former employees, they require  the Court Decision in respect to Nairit Bankruptcy to be suspended. 

ArmInfo. The bankruptcy of Nairit Plant will raise unemployment and result in a new wave of migration from Armenia, Lyudmila Sargsyan, MP from the Armenian  National Congress Faction, said in Parliament on December 6.     

ArmInfo. Armenia's newly appointed Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan informed today at the parliament that in the nearest future he will meet with potential  investors of Yerevan Nairit Plant. 

ArmInfo. Former employees of  Nairit Chemical Plant are picketing the parliament building demanding  the meeting with Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan to discuss  possibilities of re-launching the plant. 

 Many in Armenia view the World Armenian Congress (WAC) President Ara Abrahamyan’s intention to create a party as “a hand of the Kremlin”. How would you comment on this situation? 

Mr. Bibin, the power rate in Armenia had been stable for 11 years, but it has been raised twice over the last two years. What is the reason for another rise of the rate?

 The Western sanctions and the steep fall in oil prices have resulted in economic downturn in Russia and have affected Armenia, too. Some experts think that if Armenia chose European integration instead of Eurasian one, the situation in the economy would be different. What would you say?  

Former employees of Nairit plant are protesting in front of the building of parliament demanding to reactivate the plant.
ArmInfo's correspondent reports from the scene that the protesters demand to restart the plant and to initiate criminal case against the heads of the Nairit as according to them they were forced by blackmail to sign agreements according to which they refuse from accumulated interest of non paid salary.
